Cybersecurity Training Completed
Our team completed specialized training on European and international cybersecurity frameworks:
- RED & EN 18031 – standards for radio and wireless devices in the EU.
- IEC 62443 – International standard for industrial automation and control system cybersecurity (OT/ICS).
- CRA (Cyber Resilience Act) – New EU regulation for mandatory cybersecurity of products with digital components.
This training has equipped our colleagues to better apply “security by design” principles, understand the obligations these standards entail, and navigate upcoming market requirements.
Security by Design means integrating cybersecurity from the start of product or system development. Principles include:
- Designing with cybersecurity in mind, identifying potential threats early.
- Applying least privilege, minimizing access rights.
- Building robustness to resist attacks.
- Planning secure updates and maintenance.
- Documenting and auditing security measures.
Training equips our team to understand obligations, apply security by design, and navigate emerging market requirements.
